Procrastination can be crippling.  Motivation and determination can be really hard to find and harness even when we know it is essential to get things done.  School assessments, exams and deadlines loom over us and the consequence of not getting on with the job can have an impact on choices and pathways for the future - but still we just can't find the push to even start - let alone finish.  So what's the problem? Some of the common reasons that people procrastinate: Fear of the outcome - Fear of success, fear of failure, fear of looking like a fool. Helplessness in the face of complexity - the task seems to difficult, so we try to avoid it. Rebellion and laziness - resenting the task that needs to be done - actively choosing to put it off.
